linaLina is a graduate of Drexel University.  During these years she developed a love for physical activity as a stress release from her demanding schoolwork.  Shortly after graduation she was faced with a shoulder injury, which left her with a challenging recovery.  Her Doctor suggested she take a yoga class to help keep her body mobile.  Her first yoga experience inspired her transformation.  Lina began to study Yoga and Pilates to help support her injury and realized this was something she loved.

She completed her first Yoga Teacher Training program in Structural Yoga and registered with Yoga Alliance.  Shortly after that she received her Pilates Mat Certification from the Physical Mind Institute in NYC.  She continued to study Pre-Natal Yoga, Yoga for Children and Cardiac Yoga, directed by Mala Cunninghan, PhD.  She has also received a certification in Mindfulness Based Stress Management, a program based on the teachings of John Kabat-Zinn PhD.  Her passion for this work has led her to study Structural Yoga Therapy with Mukunda Stiles.  This work has made a profound impact on her teachings and her personal life.  She continues to study with Mukunda.

Lina is a nationally certified personal trainer who can use both Yoga and Pilates techniques in her training to build strength, balance and flexibility.  Her own personal experience has allowed her to understand and work with the limitations your body.  She has a very mind/body approach to exercise and believes that we all have the ability to heal ourselves, work hard, and have fun at the same time.  Her unique style of teaching enables her to work with a wide range of needs from physically fit, to those with limited mobility.  Lina currently teaches Structural Yoga, Yoga for Children, Pre-Natal Yoga, Pilates Mat, Spinning and Kickboxing.  She teaches at local facilities as well as private in-home sessions based on your specific needs.  Private Yoga Therapy sessions are also available.

Lina is also a Graduate on the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and a member if the American Assiciation of Drugless Practitioners.   She can create a nutritional plan to support all of your mind/body needs.

Lina also offers wellness advice working with Young Living essential oils.  This is a holistic approach to maintaining health and well-being.  The use of essential oils can enhance your quality of life by diffusing them in your home, using them topically, or taking them as a dietary supplement.
